Our History
The Model Education International Academy (Mia) is an extension of Al Tarbiyah Al Namouthajiyah Schools which was founded in(1378 Ah- 1958), by its founder Sheikh / Mohamed bin Ibrahim Al-Khudhair – May Allah bless him.
Sheikh Mohamed was known for his keen passion for education during his scientific and professional career, where he joined Aramco in 1369 as a railway worker after completing his education in Qassim. Learning English well and observing during his work at Aramco that his co-workers were proficient in English although they did not read and write in Arabic and his keen knowledge of education, he made his own room as a class to teach his colleagues reading and writing at Aramco. In 1374, he moved to work on AlKharj agricultural project, which was supervised by Aramco and asked that the company to establish schools for the children of farm workers, so the company agreed to establish two schools and Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khudhair managed and supervised them in addition to his work.
After a long and rich journey in government work, Sheikh laid the first brick with the opening of the first branch of Al Tarbiyah Al Namouthajiyah Schools, which was located in al-Malaz neighborhood in Riyadh, to be the first school in Riyadh city to teach girls, where it was two years before the establishment of the General Presidency of Girls’Education.
